The quick access content element enables the compact display of several links to internal pages.

The quick access content element enables a compact and clear presentation of several links to internal pages. Extensive link lists and cross-references can be effectively shortened and are displayed in a single drop-down menu.

Each entry in the drop-down menu can be stored:

  • A link to an internal page.
  • A label that is displayed in the drop-down menu.

Example:

Include the quick access content element:

Under "Alignment", first select whether the content element should be left-aligned or centered.

Then click on the "Create new" button to add a new link. Important: At least two links must be included so that the content element can be saved.

The following information must be entered for each link:

  • Under "Target page", use the link browser to refer to an internal page.
  • Under "Title for target page", enter a label for the link in the drop-down menu.

Finally, you can save your changes.

Frequently asked questions

At least two links must be included in the content element. There is no fixed upper limit. However, consideration should be given to good user guidance. Too many links overload the drop-down menu and have a negative impact on clarity.

The content element is specially designed for displaying links to internal pages. Direct linking of files is not possible.

The width of the element is fixed and is only marginally influenced by different device classes (desktop PC, tablet, smartphone).
